I'm thinking 3 user non-conference games a year since most conference games will be against the CPU. One will be a rival game which will be played every season. The other two (one against each conference) will rotate each season.
Pac 12/SEC Rival games: Washington - Tennessee UCLA - Missouri
Pac 12/ACC Rival games: Utah - NC State Cal - Pitt
SEC/ACC Rival games: UNC - Texas A&M Maryland - South Carolina
I'm going to make the conference schedules 8 games for all of us (Pac-12 and I think a 14 team ACC is 9) so we can have one non-conference CPU game that allows real rivalries (Pitt-WVU, TAMU-Texas, South Carolina-Clemson, Missouri-Kansas, Utah-BYU, etc) to be played, which could help recruiting.

This looks good to me! Honestly, I wasn't too big on moving to lower tier teams initially, but, I'm pretty pumped about it now and can't wait for the dynasty to kick off. Would be nice to find a 12th player to round things out....we'll see what happens I guess.
Wings - When you find a slider set you plan on using, post it here if you don't mind, I'd like to add the same to my settings so that I can get a little practice before next week.

Haha. Of course, my non-conference rival is controlled by Jank. It won't be "The Game" but it'll certainly be something special.
EDIT: Yes, I want to play Texas in the non-conference. Every. Year.

I'm gone July(20th), for a full week hiking along Lake Superior. Will be on autopilot. Will try to recruit online but I don't know how much internet access I will have when I'm not hiking. No need to wait for me, I know how eager you guys are to start the dynasty.
Wings schedule wise, if we start the dynasty the 16th or 17th, I should be able to complete week 1, probably not week 2. If you can give me byes week 2 and week 3 that would be best. If you can't that's fine too. Or just try to keep my user games later in the season as much as possible. Thanks.
I'm also gone the 12th through the 16th. (Thursday thru Monday)

Looks great Redwings. Doing a Great Job. I think I know the answer, but there is no way to guarantee we get to play both teams in the other division of our conference correct?

So after playing around with the scheduling for a little bit, it seems like in order for the 14 (ACC/SEC) team conferences to play a 8 game conference schedule, protected cross-division rivals must be turned off. So those teams will play two of the seven in the other division on a rotating cycle.

Looks like we get to keep our user "THE GAME" going Hez! I don't normally play user games, but when I do, I prefer to play Heznfire. Stay thirsty my friends

I'm reconsidering the 8 game conference schedules. More to come. Also, I can move the conference championship games to any stadium in the game. Any suggestions?

SEC Could be Held at Gator Bowl.
I think you should just eliminate some teams from the 14 team conferences and play as 12.

How about SEC champ game at Jerry's World?
Mike Slive came to my law school and I asked him if adding A&M gave the SEC more options in Texas. He said something about how they have a good relationship with Atlanta and would be worried about the ACC moving in if the SEC left because the ACC has a natural geographic interest in Atlanta. I suggested that Georgia and the Atlanta market were going nowhere because UGA is locked into the conference, but the conference should build a relationship with Texas to secure the Texas market and he winked at me and gave me his business card. I would expect the SEC to try to move its champ game to Texas or the Superdome once it can move from in Atlanta, so we can be like five years ahead by doing it now.
