Texas A&M - 45 Kentucky - 7 Best game of the year. I don't care that it was Kentucky. It was refreshing to play sound football on both sides of the line of scrimmage. I did make an adjustment on defense that seemed to help, but it's only one game against arguably the worst team in the SEC. Thankfully, I'll have few more CPU games to fine-tune it before user games against NC State and Missouri. Vandy was pretty terrible vs my Gamecocks lol.

Their offense was nearly unstoppable against me two weeks ago. They could do no wrong. It was quite frustrating allowing 35 points to the Commodores and relying on a goal-line stand just to get the win. Yeesh. Frankly, my defense had been horrible for the 2.5 games prior to this week's contest to Kentucky. Thankfully, it was vastly improved today. I hope it carries over for the rest of the season.

Cal 56- UCLA 22
Huge disappointment in a huge game. First and foremost, Campk played very well on both sides of the ball. He deserved to win this game, obviously.
The 1st half and 2nd half started out the same way. Back to back turnovers which led to TDs for Cal. On the defensive side of the ball, my squad had its worst day of the year by far. Cal did a great job of eliminating my DBs by running the ball for over 300 yards and controlling the game.
Surprisingly, total offense, 3rd down conversions, and red zone % are nearly identical. What stands out are the turnovers, difference in rushing yards, and most glaringly. Time of possession, where Cal nearly controls the ball for a QUARTER longer than I did.
My young offense, an specifically my QB and #1 WR really showed their inexperience by turning the ball over and dropping several s, 2 which would have been for 6. Cal and UCLA both stand with 1 loss now.
Games like this are frustrating, but I looked forward to playing Campk again, whether it be this season or next. We shall see. Great game by your squad Campk.

The turnovers were big and gave me a good cushion so I could run the ball. After hearing about UCLA great secondary all season I was glad to keep the ball on the ground. I already knew first hand how could they were because i lost out on them recruiting last year. Heisman candidate joe Grisby had a quiet game as he got laid out and fumbled and left the game for a while and I was worried about further injury so my RB went off for over 200 yards and 3 tds. looks like we are going to have a great in state rivalry for seasons to come. But let's not let that distract us from our main goal. Putting the overrated SEC in its place.

Utah 47 - ASU 6
Something must be in the air as this was also my most complete game of the year. My defense did not give up a TD and that may be the first time I've ever had that happen. Lots of pressure and picked up more sacks than I typically do. Offense was a good mix, Jordan Wynn had a nice game tossing 4 TDs even after I lost stud WR Dres Anderson early in the game.
In other news, I'm currently watching Utah vs. Utah State, it's awesome feeling totally familiar with the Utah team.....Go Utes!

I looked at the NCAA sack leaders in the season so far. 4 out of 5 are on South Carolina! That's incredible

Tennessee 48 - 24 Alabama.
Tyler Bray went 14/20 for 346 yards and 5 TDs with 1 INT (circus INT, not his fault).
Da'Rick Rogers was his favorite target today, catching 7 passes for 177 yards and 2 TDs. Justin Hunter, however, got 3 TDs on his way to his 140 yard day.
Also, for the first time in a few games I got to 100 yards rushing. Rajion Neal ran the ball 20 times for 117 yards. His backup, Heisman Trophy Winner Marlin Lane, ran the ball 7 times for 42 yards (garbage time in 4th quarter).

Hopefully, I can actually win the rest of my CPU games before my SEC showdown with Ziff.
