Week 13

Mizzou 33 Tex A&M 30 2 OT
As you might expect from the score a wild one. I once again was disgusted with EA as early on they negated 2 potential td's/long gains with holding penalties and then added in some drops and some int's. I'm at home give me the breaks!!!! I had to settle for fg's and then Hez started taking control of the game with his TE( I tried to take him out of the game but Hez was pretty brilliant in his balancing of his playcalls and I couldn't lock him down). Up 11 late Hez went for the dagger and got burnt when my LB picked off the pass. From there Mizzou had all the momentum and it carried the day.
Hez was very aggressive in trying to stop the option leaving the qb for big plays. He said he did not want his end crashing so I may have been the beneficiary of some screwed up play. Maybe my crowd noise got to him.
Great game and a much needed win for Mizzou.
Flip this bitch so I can see how far I'm behind Maryland in the rankings.

#8 Texas A&M - 30 Missouri - 33 (2OT)
There's a lot I could say, but it's in my best interest to keep it to myself. I made some of the dumbest decisions I could have ever made in this game. Taking a 20-9 lead into the fourth quarter, it boggles my mind at what happened. I choked. Pure and simple.
Great game, Ziff. No matter what I did -- whether it be QB spy or QB contain -- my DE thought it would be fun to crash on your read-option every single time. It's a bitch to stop. Congrats on making it to the SEC Championship Game.

Hez I think slanting the line out, zone blitzing and controlling your lb's is the best way to slow the option. Your defense is set up to stop the pass. I have no chance of completing a pass with the aggressive man to man. Playing man against the option is very aggressive if I can crease the line it can go.
You are correct though that EA needs to make it easier and more clear to have your DE always stay home. No matter the settings if you have man defense they will chase the ball.
I was shocked when you passed up 11. I assume you thought you could catch me in a desperation blitz which was a smart call I just didn't call it. EA giving me the fumble was the key play of the day.

If I don't have a ton of commits after that amazing game EA sucks. Wish they could have decommits cause I'd be coming for your stable of studs with my little SEC West flag.
