HEZNFIRE EDIT:
2013 Conference Challenge
THE PAC-12 IS THE 2013 CONFERENCE CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS!
Since the Pac-12 and SEC went 3-3 against each other and there are no user bowl games between two conferences, we resort to the third tiebreaker, which is MOV in user H2H games. In the slimmest of margins, the Pac-12 outscored the SEC by two points in their six games.
Therefore, all four Pac-12 schools (California, UCLA, Utah, and Washington) will be awarded an extra scholarship for the 2014 season.
Here are the final standings:
Pac-12: 7-5 SEC: 7-5 ACC: 4-8
Here were the final results for the 2013 Conference Challenge:
Week 1
Washington at Tennessee - (Tennessee, 48-33) California at Pittsburgh - (California, 45-28) North Carolina at Utah - (North Carolina, 34-14)

lol I just checked the records that I posted--when I check the scores online I get some games listed twice. That accounted for my weird numbers. Thanks for straightening this out, Hez, and for clarifying the reward for winning.

What about last years challenge? Do we gain 1 extral for that year also? No. Redwings did not have the award in effect for last season's Conference Challenge. I am not going to retroactively change his decision.

After a 3-0 start in the Conference Challenge, the SEC has dropped their last three user games. (Sorry, SEC brethren ). Thus, all three conferences have a .500 record in the Challenge. It looks like the SEC won't be running away with it this year, and it will be a tight race to the finish. Deadrabbits has a huge opportunity for the ACC as Maryland faces Cal this week and Tennessee in Week 4. Two wins there, and the ACC could be in the driver's seat the rest of the way.

Cal with a big win against Maryland gives the Pac-12 the lead in the Conference Challenge heading into Week 4.

In Weeks 3 and 4, the SEC lost all three of their user games to drop from first to last place in the Conference Challenge. Wah wah.

Tennessee beats Cal. Cal beats Maryland. Maryland beats Tennessee.
And that's why you play the games, folks. Wow.

Tennessee beats Cal. Cal beats Maryland. Maryland beats Tennessee. And that's why you play the games, folks. Wow. I like the parity of this dynasty format. For the most part, everyone is on an equal playing field. It allows the games against other users and the CPU to be much more difficult and competitive. It's not going to be like in NCAA '12 where it was always Jank and I in the Big Ten Championship. I expect to see different matchups in the Conference Championship each year, and just look at the Conference Challenge. Last year, the SEC ran away with it. This year, the SEC is in last place. Anything can happen.
