Yeah DR Rice must have some magic in those recruiting pitches. That fucking W is all over my recruiting boards out of nowhere. Hez you needed to wait another 2 weeks before sending that invite. :-)

Yikes! Anyone look at the top recruiting classes? I knew I was in the tank, but I didn't realize the computer was gobbling up so many recruits. I know many of you will still haul in big elite classes but I wonder if EA changed some stuff up on the last patch. Early last year we had several teams in the top 25 classes. This year nothing after teams performed much better on the field.
As a side note I had to give up on the 5 star athlete from Louisiana. I threw the kitchen sink and got nowhere. I needed his athleticism on my offense next year badly. Good luck to Texas A&M in 2nd place to try and pry him out of the LSU mafias clutches.

Yeah I noticed that yesterday as well, but like you said a lot of us haven't even really gotten started on our classes. With some of the guys I'm in on, I'd be surprised if my class ended up outside of the top-20 when all is said and done.

I had read on some of the message boards that there may have been a glitch regarding the CPU (not) offering recruits when NCAA '13 initially released. My only guess is that maybe the glitch was fixed, and that explains why the CPU has been much tougher to recruit against in Season 2. At least it has been for me as LSU and Nebraska have been snatching up many of my targeted recruits -- even the 3* GEMs. However, I'll have a better feel after this next week as I had 11 recruits visit for my Week 6 win against Vanderbilt -- including 5* ATH Tye McGill from Louisiana. I'm really hoping the visit pays off.

Texas A&M added its third and fourth commits of the 2013 class:
4* OLB Scott Jackson -- No. 65 overall, No. 4 OLB -- Springhill, LA -- 77 (-1), 100% 4* QB Nick Lindsey -- No. 241 overall, No. 13 QB -- San Benito, TX -- 75 (+4), 100%
Despite having an "A" visit to College Station last week, 5* ATH Tye McGill decided to play Les Miles in Baton Rouge. Bummer.
I have 12 scholarships remaining.

UNC adds 3 more commits
1* R. Barry FB 74 (+11) GEM (no shit) 4* G J. Bates 77 (+3)
This guard is the first piece in trying to build a higher talent level offensive line. Too bad I can't find any other good guards to recruit this year lol

Geez my recruiting class is gonna suck this year. I have a bunch of 1st's but no one is committing... Maybe after I get them on some of those Hookers and Coke they will see the dark side and commit.

3 commits this week.
3* #325 (#17 DE) Buster Brown-- 71(+1) OVR --- 100% scouted --- (nice name) 3* #1036 (#82 OLB) Anthony Foster-- 69(+5) OVR -- 100 % scouted ---(soft verbal to Wisconsin, snake oiled on visit. Surprise commit. Stopped recruiting him for the last two weeks, but he really enjoyed the visit). 3* #1287 (#110 CB JuCo Sophmore) Jovan Williams-- 72(+2) OVR-- 85% scouted(needed for depth)
6 commits. 6/14. 8 scholarships remaining.
Having a hard time finding offensive linemen this season. Might have to pull an RR and only sign one.
Trying to land the #2 QB in the nation from Maryland. Promised him solid playing time and other promises and spent 60 minutes on him each week and I'm in a dead heat with Virginia...He also visited last week and still I'm in 2nd...damn

4* #40 Ath Chase Wiliams is on board 77(+8) overall.....Rolla, Mo
He had his heart set on Tennessee but the coaches never looked at his film. In the end he came back home and we're pretty happy. This kid can play all over the field. He's going to take reps at QB 1st. A gem and the lynchpin of the class.

South Carolina snake-oiled away the 5* RB we were both recruiting. He was a soft commit to the Aggies before the weekend and became a putrid Gamecock afterwards. Damn you, Ozi!
However, the 5* RB was a 74 (-4), so I know there is a GEM out there that is a comparable -- or even superior -- talent. Well, there better be. Although, I was hoping I could finally say that I landed a 5* recruit.

Picked up a 4 star I guess we'll call him that.
4* Ath #146 Overall # 30 Ath-70(0) rating 75% Scouted. Iowa City, Ia.
At 6'3 261lbs he was the only person in the Top 150 that had any interest in Mizzou so I went after him hoping he was Cam Newton....he was not.....then I thought Antonio Gates......he was not.......Brandon Graham?.........he was not.........this guy pretty much sucks and I have no idea where he can play. I think he may be my short yardage FB. Oh well I have 20 schollies to give and I think I'll use maybe 12 so I'll redshirt his ass and see what happens.
