Texas A&M added three commits in Week 1 of the offseason:
4* DT Courtney Williams -- No. 80 overall, No. 4 DT -- Kendale Lakes, FL -- 76 (0), 100% 4* RB Brad Mosby -- No. 278 overall, No. 30 RB -- Bel Air North, MD -- 73 (+5), 100% -- GEM 3* T Jason Burks -- No. 551 overall, No. 38 T -- Santa Rosa, NM -- 79 (+10), 100% -- GEM
I have three scholarships remaining. Two of the scholarships are for another RB and T -- both of which are better GEMs than Mosby and Burks. The final scholarship is for the CB that I'm battling Ziff for.

John Nance committed
4* Nance is a Top 150 guy #146 overall #31 Ath......71(+0) 100% scouted. His 90 speed and 70 catch have him slated for a slot position. Most likely redshirt this year and then work his way into the crowded rotation of slubs trying tofill the void of DGB when he goes #1 in the draft next year and leaves Mizzou.
Big week for the CB recruit Hez not gonna lie. I got the double dipper points. This would be a huge recruiting upset and a needed win for Mizzou. I think he's looking at that crowded backfield @ A&M and getting cold feet. :-)

Filled my last spot.
3* #663(#63 ATH) Sterling Sparks-- 6'0 202-- 66(+6) OVR -- 100% scouted. Mobile QB-with good rushing skills with average arm. He could also play CB as well in the future. Also he has a cool name.
Wasn't expecting to sign this guy. But needed a mobile QB. Had two 69 OVRs (LB and a TE) that were waiting to commit. Was a hard decision of who I wanted for that last spot. Spent some time scouting him this week. He brings a dimension to my offense that I would be missing next season with graduating QB CJ Brown(read option).
Class filled.

I also jumped Ziff for CB Jarrod Wilson. Two spots left.

Sorry, Ziff.

Texas A&M's 2013 Class:
QB Nick Lindsey: 75 (+4) RB Bryan Sherman: 80 (+8) -- GEM RB Brad Mosby: 73 (+5) -- GEM WR Jason Thompson: 71 (+3) TE Jason Young: 78 (+6) -- GEM T Dan Ginn: 80 (+10) -- GEM T Jason Burks: 79 (+10) -- GEM T Nick Sampson: 75 (+1) C Larry Browne (SO): 77 (+3)
DE Andy Freeman: 76 (0) DT Courtney Williams: 76 (0) OLB Scott Jackson: 77 (-1) OLB Matt Morris: 75 (+1) MLB Ron Reid: 79 (+9) -- GEM CB Jarrod Butler: 75 (+2) CB Stanley Lewis: 69 (-2) CB McKinley Grant: 69 (+5) -- GEM FS Ryan Miller: 77 (+9) -- GEM
Avg. OVR Rating for 2013: 75.6 Avg. OVR Rating for 2012: 73.9
2013 Class: 11 **** and 7 ***, with five commits in the Top 150 2012 Class: 13 ****, 6 ***, and 1 *, with nine commits in the Top 150.
Despite a lower class ranking than in 2012, this is by far a more talented class. The heavier emphasis on scouting paid off mightily (8 GEMs). Only four of my 18 commits are rated below a 75 OVR. It's going to be tough for me to top this class in the next few years.

Tennessee is done recruiting for the 2013 season and I'm VERY happy with how this class turned out. Here's the breakdown: 10 hrs 00 min recruit time remaining 3 hrs 00 min scouting time remaining 25 of 35 recruits targeted 0 scholarships remaining 0 team needs RECRUITING BOARD SEARCH & ADD TEAM NEEDS PIPELINE STATES TOP CLASSES All QB HB FB WR TE T G C DE DT OLB MLB CB FS SS K P ATH TEAM NEEDS #NameOvrPosIntVisitOfferActions
D. Griffin 81(+3) FS
P. Odom 79(+10) C
E. Edwards 79 QB
R. Collins 79 DT
D. Ramsey 79(+9) SS
N. Phillips 79(+6) WR
J. Culp 78(+3) DE
R. Morris 78(-1) QB
B. McKinney 78(+3) WR
C. Chance 78(-6) K
J. McCoy 77(+4) OLB
C. Chavez 76(+6) T
P. Williamson 76(+7) G
B. Jones 76(+2) OLB
R. Joseph 76(+3) HB
J. Dixon 74(-7) ATH
B. Henley 73 ATH
D. Brown 73(-2) WR
J. Hampton 72(+9) TE
S. Davis 71(-1) SS
B. Harmon 71(+1) QB
A. Morrison 71(-1) DT
A. Wright 69(+5) OLB
L. Matthews 66(+6) G
L. Humphrey 66(+1) DE
So I generally don't take players rated below 70, but I needed the 69 overall OLB because that was a position of need after two OLBs transferred away. The guard and DE were for depth and pipeline purposes.
