Just landed a huge commit mid-week!!!
4* #25 (#2 QB) Harold Corbett 6'2 228lbs from Maryland-- 81(+1) OVR -- 100% scouted
Went all out for this guy. He just missed 5 star status being the first 4 star recruit. He'll be my starter from day 1.
Nice to know that I found my QB for the next 3-4 seasons.
8 commits now. 6 scholarships remaining.

I guess I'll have to turn up the negative recruiting. Dirty SEC is Dirty ha.

Texas A&M picked up its fifth commit of the 2013 class:
4* DE Andy Freeman -- No. 72 overall, No. 4 DE -- Clute, TX -- 76 (-), 100%
When I first started scouting Freeman, he dropped four OVR points midway through his evaluation. I initially thought he was a bust, but I'm glad I decided to complete my scouting report as he proved me wrong.
I have 11 scholarships remaining. I may be in some trouble for the rest of my recruiting class as I have missed out on a lot of key prospects. I may have overshot for some higher recruits, and my somewhat lackluster recruiting pitches weren't able to make up the ground. I only lead for a few prospects, and those leads are dwindling fast -- I'm looking at you, Ozi.

4* T Nick Sampson -- No. 150 overall, No. 9 T -- Douglasville, GA -- 75 (+1), 100%
I have 10 scholarships remaining.

Despite the bad loss to South Carolina, the Vols do have some good news to report. Tennessee landed a 4* WR. Nick Phillips 79 (+6) from West Memphis, Arkansas. The Vols also landed J.D. McCoy, a 4* OLB 77 (+4) from Georgia. McCoy fulfills my last team need, and is pretty good. Tennessee also landed a 3* QB who will be good for depth. Tennessee can sign 19 more in this class, but probably won't.

UNC got their biggest commits thus far this past week
M. Kent 5* ATH 86 (0) 18% scouted, could drop a few points since I didn't spend too much time scouting him but still a high player even with a drop J. Adams 4* OLB 80 (+2) fills a big OLB need on the team J. Grant 4* T 70 (-2)

Mizzo lands a stud
4* #6 DE Hakim Jones 76(0) 57% scouted. Another home state kid that wasn't looking Mizzous way initially. After a good talk with mama she convinced him to stay home. Should see playing time right away.

Texas A&M received its seventh commitment of the 2013 class in Week 10:
4* TE Jason Young -- No. 214 overall, No. 9 TE -- Broomall, PA -- 78 (+6), 100% -- GEM
I had near a 1,000-point lead in Young's recruitment about three or four weeks ago. Then, Ozi -- in his SEC hooker madness -- threw everything at Young, closing the gap to 200 points before last weekend. Thankfully, Young committed to the good guys before Ozi could snake-oil him away from me. Whew.
I have nine scholarships available.

The Vols raided Big Ten country and a 3* JuCo Athlete. J.J. Dixon from Columbus picked Tennessee over Michigan and Penn State. Dude is an 81 overall and looks like he can play QB, RB, or safety.
