Almost all of my top rated interested prospects have been scooped up by other teams or turned out to be busts. I have a few of them for visits this week, so hopefully I can flip one. Really bad recruiting season for Maryland after gaining 5 star status.
I'm also having a hard time making new pipelines because I have alot of players tied up in Pennsylvania and South Carolina which I can't get pipelines from.

I thought that last year , but it's still time to find some guys being ignored. I love the new recruiting system. You can make up a lot of ground pretty quickly.
Just make sure no other users are in on him and you can shoot up some studs board.
It is so much more interesting with the gems and busts.

True, but you could also lead for guys all year long and then once the CPU offers they commit like WTF??? Lost a 84 ATH with 98 speed to GA AGAIN!! Lost a 83 98 speed ATH last year to Bama after leading 8 weeks...

I was disappointed when I received a phone call from No. 2 RB Justin Walker to inform me that he had loved his visit to Berkeley so much that he committed to Cal on the spot. Walker was the best RB in the state of Texas, and I certainly don't like those pesky West Coast schools trying to breach my state borders.
This recruiting loss was mitigated, though, by adding my third commit of the class mid-Week 6, and he's the best recruit I've ever received:
4* OLB Will Young -- No. 166 overall, No. 10 OLB -- Burleson, TX -- 82 (+8), 100% -- GEM
I have 16 scholarships remaining.

Haha please Ozi, like you're struggling to recruit. Hez touched on it a few days ago, if everything went your way (or any individual) it wouldn't be at all realistic. Bama beats out lots of schools for lots of kids, both in the real world, and the virtual world ha. You get your fair share.

Tennessee built on its already strong class by adding 4* WR Pierre Hill from Illinois (78 OVR, +8 GEM).
I now have ten members in the class--12 spots remaining. I likely won't fill this class, though.

A big recruiting weekend for Cal as I had 12 recruits on campus and got 5 4* commits including jumping over A&M for the #2 RB in the class.
Justin Walker #2 HB #36 overall 79 +4 (50% scouted) from the heart of Texas Alonzo Silva #1 MLB #50 overall 76 (-1) (79% scouted) Darren Peoples ATH #96 overall 74 (+2 scouted) probably a CB Marvin Garcia #4 SS #129 overal 73 (-2) (79% scouted) Trevor Coley #24 ATH #107 overall (72) (-1) (72% scouted) either a QB or DB
7 spots filled, 15 to go.

Landed two more recruits this week.
Nick Koch, a 4* FS from Georgia chose the Vols over Michigan and Oregon. Jeremy Dean, a 4* DE from Michigan (78 OVR, +5) committed to the Vols over Wisconsin and Oklahoma.
This class is pretty awesome and is rated as the third best overall so far.
EDIT: Just picked up a commitment from Jamaal Martin. He picked the Vols over South Carolina. The 4* SS is an 82 OVR (+5) and should see the field early.

Texas A&M added three more commits in Week 7:
5* ATH Sean Williams -- No. 4 overall, No. 1 ATH -- Converse, TX -- 79 (0), 60% -- He'll be a 6'5" CB (!!!) 4* DT Jason Brown -- No. 54 overall, No. 4 DT -- Galena Park, TX -- 81 (+4), 100% 4* ATH Terry Davis -- No. 199 overall, No. 36 ATH -- Robinson, TX -- 75 (+6), 30% -- QB/CB
With Williams in the fold, I now have the No. 1 and No. 4 overall players in the country. I'm happy.
I have 13 scholarships remaining.
P.S. Ziff, now that he committed to you, was T Corey Davis the +12 GEM you were talking about? I'm curious.

Yes Hez you had me scared that you nailed that pick. I was like a poker player. You nailed me to the cross so I figured any response would be a tell.
As each week progressed I was hoping you or Beef( for some reason every kid in Missouri has an interest in Tennessee) would not scout him as he would have committed to either one of you on the spot.
3* T Corey Davis #30T #632 overall finished his scouting at 79(+11) Lost one pt at his final eval..... St. Ann, Mo
I need every homegrown kid with a pulse to stay home so this was huge. At 3 stars I would guess his stats rank with any 5 star tackle in the country.
86 PB 81 RB and 95!!! Acceleration. Talk about coming off the ball!!!
2 Commits for Mizzou. Best season ever and no one wants to commit. Just glad this is over. Even though you guys were stocked, I figured you would still like a super athletic guy you can take from an in-conference team.

I had a feeling he was a GEM when you offered him so early despite him being a 68 OVR. I originally thought that he would be 75 (+7) or in that ballpark. I never once thought he would be a +11. As you mentioned, he's a 3* recruit with 5* talent. Easily one of the most underrated players in the class.

Pretty good detective work to look at who I offered, I thought I was tricky doing that. Only I do it in reverse since I can't get any recruits you offer. On high level recruits I look to see if you didn't offer and assume he is a bust and move on.
Killa sucked me in on a guy I didn't have time to scout. I saw he offered and was highly ranked so thought I had room to turn him and safe to offer him. By the time I go to scout him a little it looks like he sucks.
