Landed two more recruits this week. Nick Koch, a 4* FS from Georgia chose the Vols over Michigan and Oregon. Jeremy Dean, a 4* DE from Michigan (78 OVR, +5) committed to the Vols over Wisconsin and Oklahoma. This class is pretty awesome and is rated as the third best overall so far. EDIT: Just picked up a commitment from Jamaal Martin. He picked the Vols over South Carolina. The 4* SS is an 82 OVR (+5) and should see the field early. I Stole your OLB John Lowe only a 79ovr but feels good stealing recruits from you haha

I added three more commits in Week 8, bringing the class total to nine:
4* WR J.J. Adams -- No. 81 overall, No. 13 WR -- Fernley, NV -- 80 (+7), 100% -- GEM (6'5", 94 speed) 4* T Jason Miles -- No. 113 overall, No. 6 T -- Mercedes, TX -- 78 (+2), 100% 4* QB Anthony Thomas -- No. 123 overall, No. 7 QB -- Haltom City, TX -- 73 (-1), 100%
South Carolina was Adams' leader from the beginning, but the Gamecocks never took a peak at him. I'm thankful because it allowed me to finally reel in the type of WR I've been looking for the past two seasons. Adams' skill level combined with his height and speed will make him the No. 1 option on the outside with TE Connor Washington dominating the middle.
I have 10 scholarships remaining.

We can't coach worth a damn at Mizzou but we can scout like a bitch.
3* MLB Tony Lucas #12 MLB #308 overall 79(+9) GEM With his 85 speed and 81 Play Recognition look for him to cause havoc on opposing offenses. Mercedes, TX. Another potential Aggie coming to Colombia.

It's Colombia so all of that is available, but these guys can't get any love from the scouting services so they are just happy with the scholarship. We save all the illicit stuff for the guys you and Hez are after in hopes of snaring one. Rarely works but we don't stop trying.

Week 8 and still not a single commit for the Utes. This is my best season from a ranking perspective so I'm a bit surprised. Apparently my promises of multiple wives who are homely and dressed in waaay to much clothing aren't working!
I do have 7 soft commits....so, hoping the first domino falls soon.

2 commits the past two weeks:
3* #317 (#21 OLB) Fred Higgins 74(+3)OVR -- 100% scouted -- 95 acceleration!!-- takes away some of the loss of losing a soft verbal OLB to Tennessee(same OVR).
3* #233 (#9 CB) Ed Bennett 69(-3) -- 100% scouted
Note: Beef if you somehow flip my center soft verbal i'm going to be pissed. I have like a 600 pt lead I think, but you have a visit for him this week.
3 commits so far. 16 scholarships left.

I'm getting in so late in the process, you have a huge lead, and I have good depth at Center already.

Newest commit:
1* #2187 (#3 FB) Adam Reid 75(+1) OVR -- 100% scouted (was not looking at Washington when I took over)
Every triple option team needs a FB to run for straight 2-4 yards per carry hoping to break one.
